By signing the registration, the guest accepts the following terms and conditions.

 

1. General/Conclusion of Contract

The following terms and conditions between the guest/tenant and the campsite Mosel Camping Bernkastel GmbH – hereinafter referred to as MCB – are irrevocably accepted and acknowledged upon registration. Supplementary agreements, assurances, information, or deviations are only valid if confirmed in writing by MCB. A package travel contract is not concluded; we are not a tour operator.
 

2. Booking, Prices, and Payment Terms

Booking:

With your inquiry, you are making a binding offer to MCB as the landlord to conclude a rental agreement. The contract only becomes binding for us as the landlord upon written or electronic acceptance of the booking confirmation, or upon arrival. This contract applies exclusively to the confirmed period and the registered persons.
 

Prices:

The prices valid for the booking period can be found online at https://www.mosel-camping-bernkastel.de/preise . The prices stated in the contract copy apply. It is the guests' responsibility to inform themselves about the applicable prices before concluding the rental agreement. Furthermore, the MCB reserves the right to adjust prices to changing market conditions.

This applies particularly in the event of significant changes in procurement costs, changes in sales tax, changes in tourism taxes, visitor's tax, or other charges. The guest will be informed of this in writing.

Payment Terms:

Pitch:

The total booking amount is payable in cash/EC on the day of departure.

MaxiPOD / Hobbit House:
To confirm a booking, a deposit of €50.00 is required by bank transfer. The remaining amount is payable in cash/EC on the day of departure.

When transferring deposits, the booking number and the name of the person making the booking must be stated as the intended purpose.

For spontaneous arrivals, the entire amount for the duration of the stay is payable in cash/EC on the day of departure.
 

3. Withdrawal/Cancellation by the Guest/Renter

Before the start of your booked stay, you may withdraw from the rental agreement at any time without giving any reason, provided you notify us in writing by email or mail.

Our claim to the agreed fee remains valid, even if you do not start your stay, cancel your stay, or leave early.
The cancellation conditions also apply to rental bathrooms and the Fiat 500 rental car.
The following cancellation rates will be charged:
 

Cancellation/withdrawal up to 22 days before arrival – €25.00 processing fee

Cancellation/withdrawal 21 to 8 days before arrival – 60% of the total price

Cancellation/withdrawal 7 to 1 day before arrival – 80% of the total price

Shortening of stay / no-show – 100% of the total price
 

Something unforeseen can always happen. To ensure you are financially protected in the event of cancellation, delayed departure, or curtailment of your trip for insured reasons, as well as during your stay with us, we recommend the reliable travel insurance provided by ERGO Travel Insurance.
 

The closure of the swimming pool or playground due to technical problems or official orders does not entitle you to a free cancellation or discount.
 

4. Arrival, Departure, Pitch, and Visitors

Arrival:

The booked pitch is available to the renter from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival; there is no right to earlier availability! We can arrange for the setting up of caravans/motorhomes to meet safety and order concerns. The instructions of our staff must be followed. In the event of any delays in arrival, the MCB must be informed immediately. The booking remains valid even in the event of a late arrival. In the event of a no-show, the booking will be automatically canceled from 10:00 AM the following day, and the booking amount will be charged. The pitch can only be reassigned by the MCB.

Departure:

The pitch must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. In the event of a late departure, the landlord may charge fees for the use of the pitch beyond the agreed time according to the price list.

Pitch:

A pitch can be used as follows: Max. 4 people, max. 1 dog, either 1 caravan including awning and 1 car, or 1 car, or 1 motorhome. Laying out plastic sheets in the awning or awning area is not permitted.

We accept pitch requests, but there is no entitlement to them! The allocation of pitches in the area you have chosen is the sole responsibility of the MCB and is based on the length of stay, usage, and previous and subsequent occupancy.

Visitors:

Use of the parking space is permitted only to the renter and their designated companions. All visitors must register at reception before entering the premises. All visitors must park their vehicles in public spaces outside the MCB premises. Fees for day visitors and overnight guests can be found in the price list.

 

5. Site Regulations

Renters, fellow travelers, and guests are obligated to comply with the posted site regulations. In the event of serious or repeated violations of the site regulations, we are entitled to terminate the contract without notice, even without a warning. We also reserve the right to charge a penalty fee of €50.

6. Withdrawal/Termination by the Landlord - MCB

If guests or visitors violate the General Terms and Conditions, site regulations, or the hygiene concept, the MCB is entitled to terminate the contract without notice; there is no entitlement to a pro rata refund of costs. The landlord may withdraw from the contract for objective reasons, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond the MCB's control that make fulfillment of the contract impossible. This also applies to bookings made with misleading or false information regarding essential facts. Furthermore, if there is a justified reason that the use of MCB services could jeopardize the smooth operation of the business, safety, or public reputation, without this being attributable to the MCB's sphere of control or organization.

7. Dogs/Other

Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the MCB premises and may not be left unattended, neither on the pitch nor in vehicles, caravans, or awnings. Your pet's droppings must be cleaned up immediately. Other guests must not be disturbed by barking. Dogs are not permitted in the reception area, on the reception terrace, in the restrooms, or in the pool area.

The use of all on-site facilities, such as the panoramic pool and the floating dock on the banks of the Moselle, is at your own risk. Parents are responsible for their children.

8. Liability

All guests, fellow travelers, and visitors are obliged to treat pitches, inventory, and rental properties with care. Any damage caused must be reported to the MCB immediately and compensated for. The renter is jointly and severally liable for his or her fellow travelers. The landlord is not liable for damages or losses incurred by the guest, fellow travelers, or visitors caused by his or her vicarious agents, vicarious agents, or other third parties, unless there is intentional or grossly negligent conduct. In particular, this does not apply to damage to fauna, flora, or weather-related damage.

9. Data Protection

The current data protection regulations can be viewed at www.mosel-camping-bernkastel.de. By concluding the contract or entering the premises, the renter agrees that his or her personal data collected as part of customer service will be stored and processed in the IT systems of the landlord or third parties commissioned by him or her for the purpose of fulfilling the rental agreement, as well as for guest communication and support, in accordance with the GDPR. The MCB is authorized to take photographs, in particular aerial photographs, for marketing purposes. If persons or property belonging to the renter are recognizable in these photographs that are not the primary focus, the renter agrees to the use of the photographs, also on behalf of his or her (minor) fellow travelers.
 

10. Severability Clause

Should individual provisions of this contract be invalid or unenforceable, or become invalid or unenforceable after conclusion of the contract, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

11. Place of Jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction for both parties is Trier.

12. Right to Errors

We reserve the right to correct errors, printing errors, and calculation errors.
